TIMOTHY SHANER & CHRISTOPHER MEASOM started Night & Day Design in 1989. They have designed everything from magazines to perfume bottles to film titles. Their concentration has been book design with a special eye toward editorial.

TIMOTHY SHANER began his design career at Hearst Magazines in the promotions department. He moved to book design in 1991 and has had a hand in designing hundreds of books. He is the design originator of Welcome Books' Little Big Book series which has over 2 million copies in print.

CHRISTOPHER MEASOM has been a freelance writer/photographer since 1994. He was Senior Writer at the travel newsletter Out & About for ten years and had a monthly column called New York Metro Page in the now-defunct Hero magazine. His books include Paris Wish You Were Here!, The Little Big Book of Ireland, and Sex Libris. He is photo editor of the bestseller Michelle Obama: A Photographic Journey.
